This close-up portrait of the UK’s leading populist charts his influence in changing our politics, many would say for the worse, and is with him as the wheels come off his campaign in spectacular fashion. Allies and backers desert him in droves leaving him railing against “corruption” and claiming his opponents are jealous of his fame. With plummeting poll ratings, will this be the election that finally persuades Farage the UK will never buy what he is selling?
