Thank goodness, then, for Border Country: When Ireland was Divided, a timely BBC Four film which executed, thoughtfully and sympathetically, a very simple idea: to combine the archival footage that has been shot around the border since it was first established almost 100 years ago with interviews with some of those who lived along it.’ inews
