Anna Burns

Anna Burns is a British television and film development executive and producer known for her work in high-end scripted drama. In 2025, she joined Rogan Productions as Head of Scripted Development, leading the company's first major expansion into drama production after more than a decade of success in factual and documentary programming.

Before joining Rogan Productions, Burns worked at Buccaneer Media, where she served as Executive Producer on a number of acclaimed television dramas, including the thriller In Flight, the period drama The Doll Factory, and the crime drama Whitstable Pearl. Her work helped establish her reputation for developing ambitious, character-driven stories across a range of genres.

Earlier in her career, Burns was a Creative Executive at Blueprint Pictures, one of the UK's leading film production companies. During her tenure, she worked on notable feature films including Seven Psychopaths and The Riot Club, gaining experience in film development and production alongside some of the industry's most respected creative talent.

Recognized for her strong editorial instincts and broad creative range, Anna Burns has become an influential figure in British scripted television, with expertise spanning drama development, production, and strategic content leadership.
