Amazon Prime Video announced today that three new documentaries from Academy Award-, BAFTA-, and Golden Globe-winning filmmaker Steve McQueen (Hunger, 12 Years a Slave), will premiere on Friday, September 17 on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. and Canada.
Uprising, Black Power: A British Story of Resistance, and Subnormal: A British Scandal. Uprising is a three-part documentary directed by Steve McQueen and James Rogan. Black Power: A British Story of Resistance is directed by George Amponsah. Subnormal: A British Scandal is directed by Lyttanya Shannon.

Rogan Productions has today announced the launch of Rogan Scotland, the company’s new production and development base in Glasgow, as well as confirming the appointment of Mark Hedgecoe as Head of Rogan Scotland.
Mark joins from the BBC, having most recently led Pacific Quay Productions for BBC Studios in Glasgow. Reporting into Rogan Productions’ London head office, Mark will spearhead the launch of Rogan Scotland and is responsible for overseeing all production and development from the Glasgow base.
