Mark has been based in Glasgow for the past decade. He led Pacific Quay Productions from when BBC Studios started and prior to that, ran the BBC’s Arts production team across the UK and was Deputy Head of BBC Science production. Mark has worked in factual programming for over 25 years and has won numerous awards across multiple genres. In recent years his film The Challenger, about Richard Feynman’s investigation into the space shuttle disaster was awarded the RTS for Best Single Drama; the series Operation Iceberg received the RTS for Best Science Programme, BAFTA Scotland for Best Factual Programme and a Jackson Hole award; and his film The Girl Who Talked To Dolphins was shortlisted for the RTS, Grierson and BAFTA Scotland.
